Ever wondered how your organisation would react in the event of a privacy data breach?
Moores is offering an exclusive and hands-on workshop. In this mystery-game style workshop, each participant will be allocated roles in a fictional organisation. A “breach” occurs, then the team collaboratively works through Identifying, Assessing, Containing and Reporting a data breach. In addition to assessing the breach, participants will also prepare a media release and conduct a meeting with a mock employee.
Our Moores facilitator and privacy expert, Cecelia Irvine-So and Associate, Kristie Harpley will also discuss real life cases Moores has worked on (de-identified of course).
This engaging and interactive session allows managers and privacy officers to develop skills, whilst avoiding the risks of the real thing! The session will guide you through assessing the severity of a data breach, when to report it and everything you need to know on how to protect your organisations reputation should a breach occur.
Each participant will also receive a take home pack containing:
- Privacy Impact Assessment; and
- Checklist to develop a Data Breach Response Plan.
In order to promote audience involvement and allow us to engage with all attendees, participants will work in small groups and as such spaces are limited.
If you have any questions regarding the workshop, please do not hesitate to contact Cecelia Irvine-So or Kristie Harpley on 03 9843 2100.
