Brenton is an Associate lawyer in the Corporate Advisory Team at Moores.
Specialising in Workplace Relations, Brenton is passionate about helping employers resolve workplace disputes and other employment related issues.
He demonstrates total commitment to achieving results for his clients, whether that’s in the form of preventing a dispute from arising, negotiating a favourable settlement or obtaining a successful judgement.
To date, Brenton has enjoyed the following successful judgements in his career:
- Acted for an employee in the successful defence of an application for a permanent injunction for use of confidential information, leading to an award of costs (Chinese Community Social Services Inc v Lydia Chan VMC  (unreported)).
- Acted for two employers in the successful defence of a claim for discrimination on the basis of sex and age (Perekrestov v Ward, Marinkovic and Fuji Xerox Australia Pty Ltd (Human Rights)  VCAT 115).
- Successfully pursuing an interlocutory application for security for costs in the amount of $35,000.00 against a manufacturer based in Israel (unreported).
