Jacob is a Lawyer in the For Purpose team at Moores

Jacob specialises in advising charities, not-for-profits and social enterprises on legal and governance matters. He enjoys getting to know the purpose, culture and activities of his clients, so he can provide relevant and practical advice. He is passionate about For Purpose organisations and the role they play in civil society.

Jacob provides advice to For Purpose organisations on governance, structuring, risk assessment, charity law, tax concessions, meetings, disputes and managing volunteers. He is an experienced presenter, and has presented seminars and webinars on not-for-profit legal issues to a diverse range of community members across Australia.

Jacob brings unique experience to the For Purpose team, having engaged with the not-for-profit sector as a volunteer, employee, mentor, board member, consultant and supporter.

Prior to Moores, Jacob worked in the community legal sector. He is also a board member of a charity that promotes volunteering in the western suburbs.
