Reflecting on key lessons for organisations and actions looking forward.
In support of the global initiative, Safer Internet Day 2020, Moores’ Practice Leader and child safety expert, Skye Rose and Lawyer, Rena Ou Yang discuss key lessons and predictions for areas of focus in 2020.
At a time when adults and children are increasingly connected to the internet, Safer Internet Day encourages everyone to play their part in creating a safe space for individuals online, including organisations. For example, organisations that work with children can help to create a better internet by equipping children and students with digital literacy skills and incorporating cyber considerations into their child safety strategy. Similarly, organisations that work with vulnerable adults such as survivors of violence or individuals with a disability also need to be aware of the risks to best support their clients.
