Moores Welcomes Jessica Latimer as Practice Leader at Moores

Moores is delighted to announce the appointment of Jessica Latimer as Practice Leader of the firm’s Disputes team.

Jessica brings over 20 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution, with deep expertise across commercial disputes, professional liability matters, and regulatory investigations and litigation. She is a strategic, pragmatic lawyer known for her no-nonsense advice and calm, solutions-focused approach.

Jessica returns to Moores after serving as a Senior Manager at ASIC, where she led enforcement investigations and strategic litigation involving breaches of directors’ duties and conduct of financial services and credit licensees. Previously, she held the role of Special Counsel at Moores, heading up the Elder Law and Elder Financial Abuse practice. Her experience combined with her commercial acumen enables her to deliver high-impact outcomes for clients navigating complex and high-stakes disputes.

Now leading a team of skilled disputes specialists, Jessica works with individuals, professional advisers, and not-for-profit organisations across the education, disability, health, aged care and housing sectors—helping clients resolve disputes efficiently and effectively. Jessica also acts for individuals in complex family business disputes and professional liability matters.
