Benjamin Scott is an Associate in the Private Clients Team at Moores.

Benjamin provides strategic legal representation to clients in the Private Clients team, with a focus on disputes involving Wills, Estates, Trusts, and SMSFs. He also assists clients navigating matters of elder financial abuse and VCAT Guardianship and Administration proceedings. With a diverse litigation background, Benjamin brings a breadth of experience that enables him to approach complex disputes with clarity and confidence.

Beginning his career in regional Victoria, Benjamin has developed a broad practice across multiple areas, including crime, family violence, commercial litigation, medical negligence, defamation, building and construction disputes, and debt recovery. This varied experience has sharpened his advocacy skills and strengthened his ability to resolve sensitive and high-stakes matters. His particular interest lies in helping clients manage estate-related disputes, combining technical expertise with a steady, client-centred approach.

Benjamin is known for his calm and considered advocacy. He takes time to deeply understand each client’s priorities and adopts an informed, measured approach to advancing their interests. His goal is to empower clients with clear, actionable advice, helping them make confident decisions even in challenging circumstances.
