Kate Gorman is a Senior Lawyer in the Construction & Infrastructure Team at Moores

Kate’s expertise is in private development and major infrastructure projects assisting clients with preparation of commercial and construction transaction documents including negotiating building contracts, supply agreements, maintenance contracts and consultancy agreements.

Kate has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry, originally working as a project manager across commercial, residential and civil sectors both on the contractor and client side. Kate is able to draw on this experience to provide proactive and practical solutions to complex legal issues faced by clients.

Being familiar with construction processes, stakeholder relationships and key risks helps Kate to take instructions efficiently, ask the right questions and provide a proactive discussion early.

Kate’s approach to helping clients is practical and outcomes focused. No client wants protracted negotiations or an unhappy project team. When preparing documents, Kate will always consider the bigger picture and aim to put forward uncomplicated legal drafting that can be easily implemented by the parties from the beginning through to the end of a project.
