Sarah Lacey is a Special Counsel in the Private Clients Team at Moores

Sarah is an experienced Family Lawyer who is committed to providing strategic, pragmatic and commercially minded advice to her clients.

Prior to Moores, Sarah worked at a boutique family law firm gaining exposure to and subsequent expertise across all facets of family law. These days, Sarah’s expertise lies in property matters incorporating complex corporate and trust structures, self-managed superannuation funds and foreign jurisdictions. Sarah also regularly prepares and advises on financial agreements and parenting matters including relocations.

Sarah’s style is to resolve matters preferably through negotiation and mediation with sensitivity towards her client’s needs and wants.

If matters are unable to realistically resolve by consent, Sarah has extensive litigation experience in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, Family Court of Australia and the Full Court of the Family Court of Appeal. Sarah is not just a lawyer to her clients. She is a support network, mentor and advocate across a broad range of matters.

Why Moores?

"I was looking for an opportunity to be part of a team which provides both exceptional client service and strategic legal advice. Moores’ commitment to their clients in both of those areas is something that immediately resonated with me."
