Leonie is an Associate in the Private Clients Team at Moores

Leonie is a dedicated and compassionate lawyer, focussing on deceased estates, estate disputes and elder financial abuse.

Throughout her legal career she has focused on wills and estates, bringing a well-rounded perspective shaped by her backgrounds in both superannuation and probate. Her experience as a death claims manager at one of Australia's largest industry superannuation funds has given her a thorough understanding of the death claims process and the taxation of superannuation, while her time working in the probate team at one of the country's largest trustee companies has further refined her technical expertise.

Leonie sees herself as a guide for clients navigating the legal system during difficult periods of their lives. She takes a collaborative approach to estate disputes and works to achieve resolution outside of court whenever possible.

Why Moores?

"As clichéd as it sounds, I chose to work at Moores because I want to do good. I became a lawyer because I wanted to help people. I want to be a 'good lawyer'. You can't be good at everything, so I decided I wanted to be good at wills and estates."
